Shellock ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address and display name from your Google or Apple sign-in.
- Focus sessions: start time, end time, duration, and focus mode used — stored to provide history and statistics.
- shellock identifiers: hardware UID and launch token of NFC tags you bind, used to link your tag to your account.
- Device info: iOS version and device model, used for debugging only.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect the content of any apps you block.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or microphone.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- Screen Time / Family Controls data stays on your device — we never see it.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate your account and sync focus history across devices.
- To link your shellock to your account and enable focus toggling.
- To display your focus statistics within the app.
4. NFC Usage
Shellock reads NFC tags to identify your shellock and trigger focus mode. NFC data is used solely for authentication and focus control. We do not store NFC scan events beyond what is needed to match your shellock to your account.
5. Screen Time / Family Controls
Shellock uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) API to block selected apps during focus sessions. This permission is managed entirely by iOS on your device. We cannot access your Screen Time data or configuration.
6. Data Retention
Your account and focus data are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
7. Third-Party Services
- Google Sign-In: governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Sign in with Apple: governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
8. Children
Shellock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

- 屏幕使用时间数据保留在您的设备上，我们无法访问。
3. 数据使用方式
- 验证账号，跨设备同步专注历史。
- 将 NFC 砖块与您的账号关联，实现专注模式切换。
- 在 App 内展示您的专注统计数据。
4. NFC 使用说明
Shellock 读取 NFC 标签以识别您的砖块并触发专注模式。NFC 数据仅用于身份验证和专注控制，我们不会超出账号匹配所需范围存储 NFC 扫描事件。
5. 屏幕使用时间 / 家庭控制
Shellock 使用 Apple 的屏幕使用时间（家庭控制）API 在专注期间屏蔽选定的 App。此权限完全由 iOS 在您的设备上管理，我们无法访问您的屏幕使用时间数据或配置。
6. 数据保留
只要您的账号处于活跃状态，相关数据就会被保留。您可以随时联系我们请求删除账号及所有相关数据。
7. 第三方服务
- Google 登录：受 Google 隐私政策约束。
- Apple 登录：受 Apple 隐私政策约束。
8. 儿童隐私
Shellock 不面向 13 岁以下儿童，我们不会故意收集儿童数据。
9. 政策变更
我们可能会更新本政策。顶部的"生效日期"反映最新修订时间。继续使用 App 即表示接受变更。
